Miss Metnal is an internationally published Latex/Pinup Model from Gothenburg, Sweden. She is an Official Model and nominated Best Up & Coming Model 2016 at Dominatrix 2016.
Two days before the big event, Miss Metnal tells Fetish Shop everything about her fetish, Latex.
FS: Tell us a little bit about you.
Miss Metnal: I’m a 28 year old, internationally published latex/pinup model based in Gothenburg, Sweden. I have been modeling since 2013, and I like to mix different types of themes, and genres. The best part about being in front of the camera is the possibility to change into someone else during the shoot. And to challenge myself to do and try new things. When I’m not in front of the camera I recently started to stand behind it as a photographer. I also love to work out and I have the aspiration to become a pro- wrestler.
FS: What is your fetish?
MM: I would say latex, even if it might not be on the sexual level, its more how I feel and look when I wear it. I might also be a bit of an exhibitionist and when I wear latex that part is a bit included.
FS: Tell us about your career. How did you get started?
MM: I never wanted to be a “model” as a child or teen. A model was to me someone that was waaaaay taller and waaaaay skinnier than I would ever be. That was nothing for me. I always wanted to work with horses, or as a firefighter.
In high school, my best friend got a camera and we took some pictures. I loved it. We did a lot of fun photoshoots, and together we had a lot of crazy ideas. I could act out and use my creativity. So after that, I got stuck with it.
When my modeling progressed I tried a lot of different styles, mostly fashion-inspired, with an alternative twist. I’ve never cared about real fashion, and I still have no clue about fashion or how to mix and match clothes. So that was challenging to me.
But after I tried that I wanted something else, I was looking into which genres that would work for me if I wanted to progress as a model.
The fetish community had always been a bit exciting and mysterious to me, because I didn’t know that much about it, so one day I bought a lovely orange latex dress through Facebook.
And after that, a lot of money was spent on latex clothing and I got the chance to experience the fetish scene, with the support of a photographer I got to know, that now is a really good friend to me.
FS: Why latex? What do you love about it?
MM: The look and feeling. You look super sexy. You feel super sexy. You feel powerful and like you could conquer the world… One shiny step at a time.
FS: What was your first fetish item?
MM: In high school, I bought my first PVC items, but in latex wear it was the orange latex dress, that I’m wearing in the pics. That shoot was also my first latex shoot.
FS: What is your most loving fetish garment? The one you can’t you live without?
MM: Oh, that’s a hard one! I really love my whole collection of fetish and latex wear and I cherish it and take good care of it, but in the end, it’s still just a thing. And you can live without things, even if it would be hard 😉
FS: What are your favorite fetish brands?
MM: There are so many amazing brands and designers out there! I have mostly Westward Bound latex in my closet and would love to expand it, because I think their garments are so well made, with awesome fit. I also have some garments made from Anthracite Luxuria that is a brand by a good friend of mine. But when I surf online and dream of what I would wear, I go to pages like House of Harlot, Pandora Deluxe and Danye Henderson Design.
FS: What do you consider your career highlights so far?
MM: I think that being nominated to the “Best Up & Coming Fetish Model 2016” in Dominatrix 2016 is my career highlight at this point! And that I will get the chance to walk in the House of Harlot runway that same weekend. Two highlights completed in two days! Before this Dominatrix Weekend I would say that it was when I was a part of a band called Parasite of God’s Music Video “Through Sorrows”. That was a lot of fun! I would love to do more music videos and film.
FS: What was the most extreme thing you had to do during a photoshoot?
MM: Tough one!
One of my first shots was done on a very old traverse, which I had on my old workplace. That hasn’t been used for around 30 years. I got the photographer, who was extremely afraid of heights, to climb up and take some photos in the old control room. He was so nervous, but still did it! Another time I was climbing on a big rock with a dress made entirely out of wood.
I’ve also took a swim in a lake at 6’ o clock in the morning in March. I had to stand in the sauna for like two hours after that to defreeze. And once I stood in only duct tape on a car demolition site in November.
…and one time I created a dress made out of bubble wrap! That was fun too! But I still want to do something really extreme! Like hanging from a bridge or cuddling with a crocodile or something!
FS: What are your dimensions?
MM: I’m 175 cm tall with adorable curves, I periodically work out a lot, but also I like to eat a lot, so the curves are there and they are planning to stay there as well. 😉
FS: How do you feel about being an official model at Dominatrix 2016?
MM: It’s unbelievable! It has been a dream for a long time to just be attending such a big fetish event, and to be a part of this as a nominated model, it’s just… Unbelievable. I can’t put it in another way. I’m so, so nervous. But I’m also so, so excited. This is going to be so much fun! 😀
FS: Do you have any ideas of shoots you’re hoping to do in the future? Anything special you’d love to shoot?
MM: I would love to do a photoshoot with horses, I really love horses and an idea me and a photographer had that in mind for a long time now, hopefully it will be done next year.
I would also love to collaborate with some latex designers, and to be featured in some large fetish magazines, such as Marquis Magazine. That would be so awesome.
There is also a bunch of great fetish photographers in both Sweden, and Europe that I would love to collaborate with. I just have to step it up and ask!
FS: Do you have a personal website? What are your social media pages? If someone wants to support you, do have an online campaign? (I.e. Patreon)
