Roswell Ivory refers to herself as a dangerously curvy travelling model and she is absolutely magnificent. She has been a fetish model for over 10 years and she also has an awarded blog about her life and the modelling industry. She gave Fetish Shop an exclusive interview.
FS: Tell us a little bit about you.
I’m a model and writer from the UK. I live on a canal boat in England but travel the world almost constantly and blog about my adventures!
When I’m not dressed in extravagant latex creations, I can often be found dancing at the nearest rock club at 3am or exploring the local coffee shops alone with my notebook. Or in the Natural History Museum.
FS: What is your fetish?
Haha, I don’t think I have a specific one- or maybe I just haven’t discovered it yet! But I feel at my most awesome when I am dressed like a videogame character in latex or leather, enormous kick-ass boots and a string of bullets around my waist.
FS: Tell us about your career. How did you get started?
I was spotted by a talent scout at a festival and began modelling the next day! I discovered latex shortly afterward and ten years later, I’m still going. My job has taken me all over the world which is probably the best part of life as a fetish model in my opinion (that and the outfits!)
FS: Why latex? What do you love about it?
It is so much more versatile than people think! Many people still associate latex with the ‘gimp suit’ cliché but designers have been using latex in couture fashion for years- even Salvador Dali once designed a latex mermaid bodysuit. We’re still finding new things to do with it- check out my sponsor Yummy Gummy’s creations for examples!
FS: What was your first fetish item?
A black latex buckle top I bought at a fetish fair. It was absolutely gorgeous!
FS: What is your most loving fetish garment? The one you can’t you live without?
Probably my harness from Pandora Deluxe– another designer I love. She made me a bespoke harness that I could team with other latex outfits or wear over the top of my everyday clothing- which I often do!
FS: You are a model but you also enjoy writing and blogging. Tell us about it.
I was studying to be a writer when I began modelling so used my blog to combine the two. I’m amazed at how popular it has been and I’ve met some wonderful people through blogging. Though I am still writing lots- including my second novel and beginning my own column in a travel magazine- I am blogging a little less now as my life has got so busy, though I do still update it.
FS: What are your favorite fetish brands?
Other than the ones I have mentioned already, I love Libidex for their gorgeous latex uniforms, Catriona Stewart for her applique and figure-enhancing designs, Dawnamatrix for the stunning ballgowns and Ardita Fetish Fashion for her couture-esque pieces, including a certain jaw-dropping coat I intend to save up for.
FS: What do you consider your career highlights so far?
I’ve been shortlisted for almost every major fetish award which is a good feeling, but aside from competitions (which I’m not a huge fan of), I’ve been featured in Sinical, Skin Two, and Marquis Magazine, walked in fashion shows in seven different countries and at nearly 30 years old am still making a living solely from modelling which I consider one decade-long highlight!
FS: What was the most extreme thing you had to do during a photoshoot?
I was once paid to rip up a dictionary, which may not sound ‘extreme’ but it is certainly the oddest thing I’ve had to do!
I’ve also done some fantastic videoshoots with a company that builds restraining and spanking machines- which I’m fascinated by as it indulges my love of science fiction and robotics!
FS: What are your dimensions?
36″ around the hip bones
38.5″ around the bum
FS: Do you have any ideas of shoots you’re hoping to do in the future? Anything special you’d love to shoot?
I love the simplicity of black latex catsuits and adore the science fiction genre, so a sleek ‘spaceship-inspired’ shoot is one of the first things on my list.
I also adore the “femme fatale” look so a decadent hotel room, vintage styling, lots of red and black- and of course some kind of dangerous weapon- is a must!
FS: Do you have a personal website? What are your social media pages? If someone wants to support you, do have an online campaign? (I.e. Patreon)
That would be very kind of them indeed! My websites and fanpages are listed below and though I don’t have a Patreon, I am on Zivity as Roswell Ivory so if you’d like to support me, you can give my exclusive sets some love over there- you don’t have to be a member!
